This means to Assess, Appraise or Evaluate. In order to take stock, you must know what you have readily available to you in God’s word. What are the specific promises to you as a believer concerning your particular situation? What scriptures are you standing on? To do this successfully, you must know the word for yourself, so you need to get into the word and study more. There are areas to pay particular attention to; move away from putting it all on God, stop blaming God for all the misfortunes and mishaps, and disappointments. He is a good God, there is no evil in Him, own up to your own shortcomings. Whatever He says to do in His word, it is because you can and have the grace to do it, begin to take ownership and responsibility for its accomplishment. God will not do for you what He specifically said you should and can do. The bible says you have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places by Christ Jesus. Eph 1:3 and also that God daily loads you with benefits Psalms 68:19. Seek to constantly examine where you were in the past, your challenges, victories, life lessons learnt, how you intend to use your victories as incentives to propel you forward and your challenges or stumbling blocks as stepping stones, launching you into greater heights in Jesus name.
Stock Taking is done in stages; · What you had readily available – Where you are coming from in terms of tasks, goals, dreams or aspirations · What you actually accessed – your achievements · What you are left with – unaccomplished tasks, goals, aspirations or dreams · Incentives – Victories experienced, like Abraham who judged God faithful, Heb 11:11 · Obstacles – what were your challenges? Like the Apostle Paul, your position in life should always be “none of these things move me” Acts 20:24 · Replenish – Start over, another chance to achieve, revisit your tasks, goals, aspiration, dreams etc. whatever you do, DON’T give up. Another chance to achieve comes with making a decision. Consider aspirations and goals in line with God’s word and purpose, reflect on the past journeys, life lessons learnt. Commit your ways to God’s leading and guidance in order to live a life of purpose and fulfill your destiny Proverbs 3:5-6 I encourage you to commit to; · Know – God’s word concerning your situations · Believe – God’s word concerning your situations · Receive – Accept that word as yours · Act on it – Let the word you now know, believe and receive affect the way you live your life on a daily basis by learning to overcome your struggles and challenges, turning them into stepping stones instead of stumbling blocks, and using them to propel yourself forward and scale fences and mountains across your path onto victory. Let God order your steps in His word, Psalms 37:23. Let Him show you how to believe, walk, talk, love, live, work, nurture, care, befriend, comfort, achieve, mentor, counsel, lead, manage, study, etc. in the spirit of truth by the help of the Holy Spirit. I tell you, when God is at the wheel, the driving is a lot smoother. Start singing a new song today, let His praises ring high and loud everywhere you go, the bible says God inhabits the praises of His people. Go out and live what you believe today!
Stop making excuses, rise up and go fulfill your destiny! Phil 4:13
Some excuses seem very legitimate and real, but I'm learning to turn those seemingly legitimate ones around and refuse to be deterred.
Jesus had a very real excuse you would think, not to go to the cross; after all, the multitudes needed Him here on earth, they were hungry, destitute, sick, confused and obviously in need of a shepherd.
To the obvious eye, His followers were clearly being persecuted, it would appear not to be the right time to leave them without a guide and teacher.
I'm sure you've heard the phrase "create with the end in mind" Jesus had the end in mind, so He didn't let the present situation shift His focus from the ultimate and glorious end.
The ultimate end was far more significant than the present day discomfort for Jesus.
Aren't you glad He stayed true to the end? Likewise, don't be deterred by the current situation you're faced with, "One with God is Majority" focus on what's ahead of you. I tell you, there is nothing that comes across your path, that the team of "God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit" together with you, making that Formidable Team, can not handle or tackle. He "fought" your battle, you just hold your peace and victory is assured in Jesus name!
Welcome! We're glad you are HERE!
